As of March 2020 over 1300 local governments in 25 countries have declared a climate emergency and committed to action to drive down emissions at emergency speed. A few of the large cities that have passed one are New York, Los Angeles, and Berkeley.

In Marin both Fairfax and San Anselmo have passed a Climate Emergency Resolution. Click HERE to view the Fairfax Resolution. 56% Percent of Americans believe that climate change is the most important issue facing society: but we have to wake up the rest.

By passing Climate Emergency Resolutions our cities are declaring this is an emergency situation and with good publicity our Marin residents will hear the news.

The goal of the Committee is to get a Climate Emergency Resolutions passed in every Marin City.
